The Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) concerns the governance of almost all immigration in the United States. The United States INA act makes it illegal illegal employers from hiring undocumented immigrants as workers. The INA act requires by law that an employer verifies their job candidates identity and work eligibility in the United States. This is done through the I9 form.
